WTK Holdings Bhd, a diversified group based in Sarawak, has announced a significant strategic move through its subsidiaries Biogrow City Sdn Bhd (BCSB) and Bioworld Synergies Sdn Bhd (BSSB). These units plan to divest their stakes in Biogrow City Plantations Sdn Bhd (BCPSB) to Rimbun Temasek Sdn Bhd for a total sum of RM90 million. The transaction involves the sale of 8.5 million ordinary shares, constituting an 85% equity interest, by BCSB for RM65.6 million, and 24.4 million redeemable preference shares by BSSB for RM24.4 million. This proposed disposal is anticipated to yield an estimated gain of RM72.7 million for WTK Holdings and is expected to be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2026, at which point BCPSB will no longer be a subsidiary of BCSB.
