أكد سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، تضامن دولة الإمارات الكامل مع مملكة البحرين ودعمها للإجراءات الأمنية التي أدت إلى القبض على 15 شخصاً بتهمة العمل كمنفذين ميدانيين لعملاء الحرس الثوري الإيراني، بهدف زعزعة استقرار البحرين. وأشاد سموه بكفاءة الأجهزة الأمنية البحرينية في كشف هذه الخلايا المرتبطة بطهران، مشدداً على رفض الإمارات المطلق للإرهاب والتنظيمات التي تخدم أجندات خارجية. وشدد على أن أمن البحرين هو جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن دولة الإمارات ودول الخليج، مجدداً دعم الإمارات الكامل لكافة الإجراءات البحرينية للحفاظ على أمنها واستقرارها.
