Why the return of White Party Manila matters to LGBTQ+ community 07.06.2026

After a 12-year hiatus, White Party Manila is set to return on June 27 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, continuing its legacy as a significant LGBTQIA+ event originally established to combat HIV/AIDS discrimination. Organized by Mentorque Productions, this year's "Reignite" themed event aims to be larger and more impactful, introducing the tradition to a new generation and fostering community connection, awareness of sexual health, and inclusivity. Featuring prominent LGBTQIA+ celebrities like Vice Ganda and Marina Summers, the party will also serve as a fundraiser for LoveYourself, a non-profit organization dedicated to sexual health and HIV services, which operates 75 clinics nationwide. The resurgence of White Party is particularly timely given a recent over 500% increase in HIV cases in the Philippines, highlighting the persistent need to address stigma and misinformation surrounding the virus.
