Anshul Kuncha, a 28-year-old man from Telangana, India, was fatally shot multiple times at close range in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, while delivering a pizza on June 5 or 6, 2026. Kuncha, who was pursuing a master's degree in business administration in the US and working part-time as a delivery executive, is believed to have responded to a fake order at a deserted location past midnight. Two unidentified assailants reportedly opened fire on him before fleeing the scene, with no items reported stolen, leading his family to suspect the delivery was a prearranged trap. US authorities are expected to release his body on June 8, and the Consulate General of India in New York is providing assistance to Kuncha's family.
