Ltd., and Nio Inc., onto a list of entities allegedly connected to China's military. This designation, while not imposing strict export controls, primarily prohibits these firms from securing contracts with the Pentagon. The action reflects an escalating effort by Washington to scrutinize Chinese industries, which could result in reputational damage and heightened compliance demands for international collaborators. This is not the first time the Pentagon has updated its list of Chinese military-linked companies, having retracted it twice recently.
