Speakers highlighted Daniher's resilience, humor, and profound impact on the community, specifically referencing his "wildebeest" spirit in fighting motor neurone disease (MND) for 13 years. The ceremony included a performance by Paul Kelly and the playing of Daniher's favorite songs, "Mr. Brightside" and "Fields of Gold." Following the service, his casket was carried by his children and brothers through a massive guard of honor along Daniher’s Way.
