Israeli attacks kill three in Gaza as post-‘ceasefire’ deaths hit 983 13.06.2026

Recent Israeli military operations in Gaza have resulted in at least three Palestinian deaths, including Muawiya al-Aydi, a municipality worker killed by a drone strike in the Bureij refugee camp. Additional casualties occurred during an air attack in Khan Younis's al-Amal neighbourhood and gunfire in the Yarmouk area. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 983 Palestinians have been killed and 3,122 injured since a ceasefire was declared in October, a period marked by continued Israeli military control over half the enclave. Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem accused Israel of violating the agreement for political reasons. Simultaneously, Israeli forces conducted violent raids across the occupied West Bank, specifically near Bethlehem and Hebron. These operations, combined with settler violence involving arson and assaults in towns like Jit and Arrabeh, have led to numerous injuries and property damage throughout the region.
