A 3-year-old girl has died from injuries sustained when a bouncy castle was lifted into the air by strong winds on Sunday, May 31, during a community celebration at Parc Ouellet in LaSalle, a borough of Montreal. The incident, which occurred during the Madre Dei Cristiani Church's annual festivities, also injured eleven other people, with six requiring hospitalization. Coroner Martine Lachance is investigating the tragedy and may issue recommendations to prevent similar incidents.
