In the program "Najważniejsze pytania" (Most Important Questions) on Polsat News, commentator Marcin Giełzak, author of the podcast "Dwie lewe ręce" (Two Left Hands), assessed the presence of Ukrainians in Poland as a "lottery-winning emigration." Giełzak emphasized that refugees from Ukraine, who arrived in Poland after the outbreak of the war in 2022, demonstrate a high capacity for integration due to cultural similarities and rapid language acquisition. The expert noted that the influx of educated and competent individuals could help solve Poland's demographic problems, creating a new youth base for the nation. At the same time, Giełzak criticized Polish politics, suggesting that disputes over historical issues, such as the name of the military unit "Heroes of the UPA," are being used by politicians for internal struggles. According to him, Volodymyr Zelenskyy's actions, including the reaction to being stripped of an order, serve to consolidate his electorate by exploiting nationalist sentiments.
