Despite having retired after the 2023 season and recently turning 35, Donald has maintained his physical fitness. Rams head coach Sean McVay has not dismissed the possibility, stating that if Donald is interested, the Rams would consider it, especially with the Super Bowl being held at their home stadium, SoFi Stadium, in 2026. Donald himself has indicated that the opportunity is "helluva" and a return is a "possibility" if he can find the competitive "fire." He has approximately seven weeks before training camp to make a decision.
