'There is no $8 million case against me' — Abu Trica breaks silence on arrest 03.06.2026

Ghanaian socialite Abu Trica has publicly refuted claims that he is involved in an $8 million fraud case, stating in an interview on Onua TV on June 3, 2026, that investigators themselves acknowledged a significantly lower amount of $13,000. Trica alleges that following his arrest, he was interrogated in a dark room by five individuals, including three white and two black men, and was pressured to identify the owner of a bank account he claims does not belong to him. He further stated that officials threatened to inflate the case amount to $8 million if he did not cooperate, asserting that the allegations are inaccurate and the reported figure is a fabrication. Abu Trica is currently on bail, with legal proceedings continuing before the Gbese District Court.
