ABVP members protest, vandalise MCD office in Delhi over building collapse incident | Video | India News 06.09.2026

A tragic building collapse in Delhi's Satya Niketan area, which housed paying guest accommodations, has claimed five lives and left several others trapped, sparking outrage and protests. On Sunday, approximately 150-200 members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the RSS, gathered at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Civic Centre to protest against the MCD's alleged negligence. The protesters demanded the resignation of MCD commissioner Sanjeev Khirwar and raised slogans against the civic body's functioning.
