AD Ports Group agrees to acquire Brazilian bulk port operator in $835m deal 02.06.2026

AD Ports Group, based in Abu Dhabi, has agreed to acquire Brazilian agricultural bulk port terminal operator Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura (CLI) for Dh3.1 billion ($835 million). This strategic acquisition aims to expand AD Ports' global footprint into South America and bolster its agrifood business. CLI operates terminals in Brazil, including CLI Norte at the Port of Itaqui and CLI Sul at the Port of Santos, which is Brazil's largest independent sugar, corn, and soybean export facility. The transaction, expected to close in the latter half of this year pending regulatory approvals, will see CLI's existing management team remain in place. This deal marks AD Ports' largest merger and acquisition to date and signifies a major step in its international expansion strategy.
