Affaire Epstein : L’ex-ministre et ambassadeur britannique Peter Mandelson arrêté à son tour 23.02.2026

Former British minister and ambassador Peter Mandelson, aged 72, has been arrested in London as part of an investigation into alleged misconduct in office related to the Jeffrey Epstein affair. The arrest, confirmed by British police on Monday, February 23, follows search warrants executed on February 6 in Wiltshire and Camden. Mandelson is suspected of transmitting information to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, potentially influencing markets during his tenure as a minister in Gordon Brown's government (2008-2010). Documents suggest Mandelson received $75,000 from Epstein in 2003-2004, which he claims to have no recollection of. Mandelson's spokesperson stated he regrets believing Epstein's lies and only learned of his crimes after his death in 2019, expressing remorse for the victims.
