The buyer's lawyer, Erik Braun, reported that this led to significant extra work. The judge deemed the AI-generated submissions "legal botch work" and ruled the man had abused the legal process. This incident highlights concerns about the misuse of AI in legal proceedings, with three lawyers in the Netherlands having already received warnings for improper AI use, and two mandated to take AI courses.
