On Thursday, February 19th, approximately 500 employees at the Ubisoft studio in Montpellier, located at 85 rue Didier-Daurat in Castelnau-le-Lez, were evacuated due to a bomb threat. The threat, communicated via an email to the Castelnau-le-Lez gendarmerie, prompted a significant response involving around thirty gendarmes, firefighters, and bomb disposal experts with a specialized dog. A security perimeter was established, and nearby businesses were also asked to evacuate, bringing the total number of people outside the secured area to nearly 800.
