On the twelfth day of the trial against Marius Borg Høiby, son of Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit, an ex-girlfriend testified about alleged violence and aggression during their relationship from 2022 to 2023. The influencer described Høiby as having two faces: a "sweet clown" and an unpredictable individual whose eyes would turn "completely black," causing her great fear. She recounted incidents of him allegedly strangling her, threatening her, kicking her, throwing objects, and shouting, comparing the experience to facing a "pitbull." These outbursts often occurred when confronted about infidelity rumors, accusations of her behavior, or when she accessed his phone. Høiby, currently in pretrial detention in Oslo, faces 38 charges, including four counts of rape, domestic violence, and assault, with a potential sentence of up to 16 years.
