Andrea Vidal Case: License Plate Duplication Occurred in Piura 07.07.2026

The investigation into the murder of Andrea Vidal, a worker for the Congress of the Republic, has revealed crucial new testimony regarding the duplication of license plates in Piura. Witness Santiago More Ríos, who was working as a taxi driver in February 2024, testified to the police that he met two Venezuelan citizens, José Molina Guerrero and Clever Quinteros, outside the Public Registries (Registros Públicos) in Piura. According to the account, these individuals asked him to manage documents for a "Placa rápida" (fast plate) company that operated nationwide. The procedure involved vehicle B4Z-71, which is directly linked to the Vidal case. However, police suspect that Molina Guerrero is using a false identity, as his physical features do not match immigration records. Currently, forensic experts have prepared two identikits to identify the suspects, while police are also investigating Rodrigo Falcón.
