The Governor of Antioquia, Andrés Julián Rendón, expressed his expectations regarding the arrival of President-elect Abelardo de la Espriella, highlighting the importance of the decentralization of national resources. Rendón pointed out that, after stabilizing finances, the State should limit itself to four basic functions: security, justice, foreign relations, and defense. This vision seeks to transfer more competencies and resources to departments and municipalities.
