António David Dias da Silva takes over leadership of FADA following the departure of Felisbela Francisco 07.07.2026

The Agricultural Development Support Fund (FADA) has announced the appointment of António David Dias da Silva as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors. Silva, who previously served as director of the Board of Directors Support Office, succeeds Felisbela Francisco, who was appointed Inspector-General of the General Inspectorate of State Administration by President João Lourenço. The new board composition, announced this Tuesday, the 7th, also includes António de Melo Chanja and Ana Maria Caetano da Silva Simões as directors. The new leadership has committed to strengthening financial and technical support to the agricultural sector, prioritizing family farming, increasing domestic production, and national food security. FADA is a public financial institution dedicated to promoting agricultural production, modernizing rural areas, and empowering farming families throughout the Angolan territory.
