Apple lance l'iPhone 17e, un modèle stratégique d'entrée de gamme visant à contrer la concurrence asiatique, conservant un design éprouvé de 6,1 pouces avec encoche et un châssis renforcé en aluminium et Ceramic Shield 2. Ce nouveau smartphone double son stockage à 256 Go tout en maintenant son prix à 719 euros, identique à celui de l'iPhone 16e. Il intègre la puce A19 pour des performances accrues, notamment pour l'intelligence artificielle, et le modem C1X deux fois plus rapide. Pour la première fois sur un modèle d'entrée de gamme, la recharge sans fil MagSafe et Qi2 jusqu'à 15W est disponible, en plus d'une recharge filaire USB-C rapide. L'appareil conserve un unique capteur photo arrière de 48 mégapixels et un capteur avant de 12 mégapixels, et sera disponible en noir, blanc et rose pastel dès le 11 mars.
