Armenia's Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced on June 3rd that the government will implement a new program to subsidize the export of greenhouse products, including tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and flowers. This initiative, set to be adopted on Thursday, aims to bolster the agricultural export sector by providing financial support directly to exporters. Concurrently, the program will reintroduce import duties on fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers entering the European Union market. Minister Papoyan also indicated that further subsidies for fruit exports are planned for future implementation.
