As AI agents become employees, NewCore emerges with $66M to give them identities 15.06.2026

Cybersecurity startup NewCore has launched from stealth, securing $66 million in seed funding led by Cyberstarts, with participation from Index Ventures and Evolution Equity Partners, valuing the company at $300 million. NewCore aims to address the growing challenge of managing and securing AI agents as they become integrated into the workforce, much like human employees. The company's platform is designed to provide identity, authentication, governance, and control for both human and AI workforce members within a single system. This comes as companies like Goldman Sachs and McKinsey are already experimenting with or deploying AI agents alongside their human staff, highlighting the increasing need for robust identity management solutions beyond traditional systems. NewCore's co-founder and CEO, Zohar Alon, believes existing identity platforms are ill-equipped for this future, necessitating a ground-up approach to digital worker security.
