Scott Bryce, the actor renowned for his long-running role as Craig Montgomery on the daytime soap opera "As the World Turns," passed away at the age of 68 after a battle with esophageal cancer. His 19-year-old son, Jackson Bryce, announced the death on Instagram on July 12, detailing his father's struggle with the disease. Jackson wrote that the cancer, which began as stage three esophageal cancer, eventually spread and became brain tumors. Despite undergoing radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy, and facing immense pain, Jackson described his father as facing it all with "pride and courage" and an unshakable belief that he would win. Even a week before his death, while battling brain tumors and experiencing slurred speech and blurry vision, Scott told his son he still believed he had a chance and was willing to fight.
