The 5th edition of the Historic Auto show, scheduled for February 27 to March 1, 2026, in Nantes, France, will feature the remarkable restoration of Prototype 3, a significant piece of French automotive history from the Venturi grand touring car marque. Originally created in Deux-Sèvres in 1984 and produced in Cholet and Nantes between 1987 and 2000, this specific prototype was nearly destroyed in the early 2000s following the brand's acquisition by Gildo Pastor. Pascal Crand, who acquired the wreck in spring 2024, has successfully restored it, including fitting period-equivalent wheels, allowing it to regain some of its former splendor for its public debut. The car was initially unveiled in Paris on May 27, 1986, by founders Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy.
