Auch Kombination in Gefahr?Schneechaos wirbelt Olympia-Programm weiter durcheinander 19.02.2026

The Olympic program is facing further disruptions due to severe weather conditions, with the men's Ski Freestyle Halfpipe qualification in Livigno, originally scheduled for Thursday morning at 10:30 AM, being postponed. This follows the earlier rescheduling of the men's Freestyle Aerials event due to anticipated heavy snowfall, with athlete safety cited as the primary concern. The Halfpipe qualification is now slated for Friday at 10:30 AM, with the final to commence at 1:30 PM. Meanwhile, Nordic Combined athletes in Predazzo are also contending with heavy snowfall for their events, including a team sprint that concludes their Olympic competitions. For German competitors Vinzenz Geiger and Johannes Rydzek, this event represents their final opportunity to secure a medal and prevent the German Ski Federation from experiencing its first Winter Games without a medal in this discipline since 1998.
