Assembly Member Yoshimatsu has testified that he paid over 20 million yen to executives of the LDP prefectural assembly group regarding the speakership, and he recorded audio in which Nakao allegedly instructed the handover of cash. However, Assembly Member Nakao has consistently denied these allegations.
