Autodrom must not cause disproportionate noise disturbance, Constitutional Court rules 07.07.2026

The Constitutional Court has dismissed the complaint from Autodrom Most, confirming the decision that the racing circuit must not cause disproportionate noise disturbance to neighbors. The dispute, which has lasted nearly eight years, was initiated by the Huličkovi spouses, who sued the circuit due to the disruption of their psychological well-being and restrictions on the use of their land. Judge Tomáš Langášek stated that the decision is not in conflict with the right to conduct business, but only limits activities within legal limits. The established limits are 55 decibels on weekdays and 50 decibels on Sundays and public holidays. Despite a change in ownership to the RIQ Investments group, owned by Roman Staňek Sr., the plaintiffs plan to continue the fight, as according to their measurements, the circuit still exceeds legal noise limits.
