Autoroute A69 : la pose des premiers enrobés donne une idée de ce que sera la future autoroute entre Castres et Toulouse 20.02.2026

The Autoroute A69 project, connecting Castres and Toulouse, has reached a significant milestone with the commencement of asphalt paving, giving a tangible preview of the future highway. The Verfeil bypass section is slated for opening by the end of March, a development that Atosca, the concessionaire, states will divert transit traffic from the town center, enhancing safety and quality of life for residents. Similar paving work is underway on the Soual and Puylaurens deviations. Additionally, a new traffic configuration at the ZA La Prade in Soual, near the future interchange, will be implemented starting February 24th, involving reorganizations of access roads to improve local connectivity and integrate with the new motorway network. This phase of construction, following initial earthworks and bridge construction, is part of a broader four-phase plan leading up to the A69's full operational launch in October 2026.
