Olympic cross-country ski champion Johannes Klaebo, who holds a record 11 Winter Games gold medals from Pyeongchang, Beijing, and Milan-Cortina, is being courted by the Norwegian cycling team Uno-X. Thor Hushovd, Uno-X's general manager, revealed to Velo that he encouraged Klaebo last year to consider trials with the team after the Olympics. Hushovd, whose team will participate in its fourth consecutive Tour de France this summer, highlighted Klaebo's "extraordinary physical capacities" and "natural talent for cycling," noting his comfort and quick adaptation on a bike. He believes Klaebo's unique endurance capabilities could lead to success in various sports, following the path of Jørgen Nordhagen, another skier who joined Visma-Lease a bike.
