95 000 appels reçus et 17 000 interventions en 2025, les sapeurs-pompiers ne chôment pas en Aveyron 20.02.2026

The Sainte-Barbe celebration on February 19, 2026, at the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Aveyron (Sdis 12) in Rodez, marked significant advancements in emergency response management. The official recognition of the CTA-Codis (Call Processing Center - Departmental Operations Center) as the 41st rescue center in the department was announced by Sdis President Arnaud Viala. In 2025, this central hub processed 95,000 calls and managed over 17,000 interventions. Plans are underway to create a joint platform with the Samu (emergency medical service) by 2027, requiring facility expansions at the Sdis 12 site in Bel Air. Furthermore, the CTA is undergoing final testing of the NexSIS 18-112 system, a new national alert management platform, with a full transition scheduled for March 26, making Sdis 12 the 18th department nationally to adopt it.
