Azerbaijani delegation attends farewell ceremony for Khamenei (Photo) 03.07.2026

A delegation from the Republic of Azerbaijan traveled to Tehran on July 3 to attend the farewell ceremony of the former Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyid Ali Khamenei. The delegation was led by the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahibə Qafarova. Upon arrival at Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport, the delegation was welcomed by Ali Nikzad, Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Ali Alizadeh, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran, and protocol staff.
