« La rencontre d’une flamme avec une dynamite » : Bad Bunny décroche le rôle principal dans un film sur Porto Ricoà 01h19 19.02.2026

Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny, fresh off winning Album of the Year at the Grammys and performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, has been cast in the lead role of the upcoming drama "Porto Rico." The film, directed by fellow Puerto Rican rapper René "Residente" Pérez Joglar and produced by Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu, will tell the epic story of José Maldonado Roman, known as the "White Eagle," a 19th-century Puerto Rican revolutionary who fought against Spanish colonialism. This marks a significant step in Bad Bunny's acting career, moving from supporting roles in films like "Bullet Train" to a leading part in a project deeply rooted in his homeland's history. Edward Norton, a producer and actor in the film, described the collaboration as a highly anticipated meeting of "flame with the wick of dynamite."
