Baku to host next meeting of Council of Central Banks of OTS countries 03.06.2026

Baku, Azerbaijan will host the upcoming meeting of the Council of Central Banks of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member countries on June 4-5. This gathering will bring together leadership from the central banks of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Türkiye, along with observers from Hungary and Northern Cyprus. The OTS Secretary General is also expected to attend. The agenda focuses on crucial topics such as maintaining macroeconomic and financial stability amid global challenges, enhancing monetary policy transmission, and navigating the evolving landscape of financial technologies and digital transformation. Discussions will include presentations on medium-term monetary and financial policy responses to risks and the advancement of digital financial ecosystems. The council, established in 2024, aims to bolster cooperation in monetary policy, financial stability, and fintech.
