The Warmoes Biennale, an art exhibition organized by Bonne Reijn, aims to showcase the unique aspects of Amsterdam's Wallengebied by displaying artworks in 19 diverse locations, including cafes, a Febo, and a fetish shop. This project, developed over three years with Justus Cohen Tervaert, features 19 artists paired with distinctive neighborhood spots. The festival, which begins with a procession from Nieuwmarkt to Warmoesstraat, seeks to challenge negative perceptions of the area and encourage locals to explore its beauty. The event also includes artist talks, live music, a literary program on April 12, and a symposium at Casa Rosso on April 18, highlighting the collaborative effort with young Amsterdam artists.
