Bildung:„Wir sollten mehr von Schülerinnen und Schülern verlangen“ 20.02.2026

The PISA study, which has assessed the academic performance of 15-year-old students in reading, mathematics, and science across 81 OECD countries for 26 years, has consistently prompted questions about the strategies employed by top-ranking nations. In Germany, the 2023 PISA results marked a historic low, intensifying this inquiry. To investigate, teacher Alexander Brand visited schools in four countries renowned for their exceptional educational outcomes, culminating in his book, "Die Bildungsweltmeister" (The Education World Champions). His research aims to identify the factors contributing to superior student achievement in these leading educational systems, offering insights for countries like Germany seeking to improve their performance.
