Blue Origin has set a very aggressive return-to-flight timeline 02.06.2026

Blue Origin CEO Dave Limp announced an aggressive plan to return the New Glenn rocket to flight by the end of 2026, following a launch failure on May 28th at their Florida launch site. A preliminary survey revealed that critical infrastructure, including propellant tanks and the water tower at the LC-36A launch site, sustained no significant damage. The company will proceed with rebuilding the LC-36A pad for the 7x2 variant of the New Glenn rocket. Furthermore, Blue Origin will forgo replacing the damaged transporter-erector, opting instead for an alternative vertical concept. This rapid recovery plan, aiming for a flight within approximately six months, suggests a focused effort on their own New Glenn program.
