Ljubljana police reported a bold incident at one of the Ljubljana markets on Friday, involving a robbery. A 45-year-old Slovenian citizen approached a stall and stole money from the victim, subsequently attempting to flee. During the escape, the perpetrator sprayed the victim with tear gas, but failed to evade police officers who quickly tracked him down near the scene. The police took the suspect into custody and facilitated the return of the stolen money to the victim. Currently, the police are investigating the entire incident and are collecting statements due to suspicion of robbery. All findings regarding this incident will later be submitted to the competent state prosecutor's office. In this case, the police successfully ensured the safety and the return of property to the victim.
