Ahmed Al Ahmed, hailed as a hero for disarming the Bondi terror attacker in March, has been charged with assaulting his father. The alleged incident occurred at a Bankstown home on March 9, and police formally charged Al Ahmed yesterday with common assault (domestic violence) and stalking. An apprehended violence order has been issued on his father's behalf. This development follows a recent incident where Al Ahmed reportedly received violent threats from his two brothers, who are accused of attempting to extort $200,000 from him. Al Ahmed is scheduled to appear in Bankstown Local Court on July 29.
