On September 8, Bratislava will become one of two European cities to host the release of the international PISA 2025 testing results. Representatives from countries in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia will attend the meeting to analyze the results and discuss their practical application in education. The Minister of Education called for necessary reforms after Slovakia's catastrophic performance in the previous testing. Romana Kanovská from NIVaM added that the results will include reading, mathematical, and scientific literacy, with students participating in the field of digital learning for the first time in this study. The next main PISA measurement will take place in 2029, and Slovakia has also signed up for financial literacy testing.
