Motorcycle sales in Belgium have received a remarkable boost, partly thanks to the Brussels Motor Show. According to data from mobility umbrella organization Mobia, released by Traxio, no fewer than 16,368 new motorcycles were registered in the first six months of 2026. This represents a thirteen percent increase compared to the same period last year and is the highest number in fifteen years. The growth is widespread across all engine displacements, with the exception of the heaviest class of over 1,001 cc, which saw a decrease of three percent.
