Bukit Aman nabs suspected Geng TR member with help from India, Thailand 03.06.2026

Bukit Aman authorities have apprehended a suspected member of Geng TR, a criminal syndicate implicated in violent and drug-related offenses in Selangor over the last five years. The 46-year-old suspect, who has a prior record for serious crimes including murder and armed robbery, was arrested on a flight from Chennai, India, to Bangkok, Thailand, with the crucial assistance of Indian and Thai law enforcement. An Interpol Red Notice had been issued for his arrest on May 7, following a warrant from the Kuala Selangor magistrates’ court on April 17. The suspect is scheduled to face charges tomorrow at the Shah Alam sessions court under Section 130V(1) of the Penal Code for organized crime membership, an offense punishable by five to 20 years imprisonment. This arrest is part of Bukit Aman’s continuous efforts to dismantle Geng TR, an alliance of various gangs active since 2019.
