A serious traffic accident occurred in Berlin-Spandau on Sunday afternoon, involving a BVG bus that collided with multiple cars before striking a tree. The incident, which took place around 1:30 PM in Gatow at the intersection of Gatower Straße and Pirsichweg, resulted in twelve individuals sustaining injuries. One person suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital via rescue helicopter. Eleven other individuals sustained minor injuries. The fire department responded with over 50 personnel, classifying the situation as a "mass casualty incident" due to the number of injured. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
