The National Security Authority (NBU) has released the Cyber Security Report for the Slovak Republic for 2025, mapping the most significant cyber incidents of the past year. Key events include an attack on the systems of the Office of Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre (ÚGKK), which led to their disablement. This incident triggered a wave of preventive measures across state institutions, including penetration testing and vulnerability audits. Additionally, the authority recorded an increased number of bomb threats targeting schools and public institutions, as well as a rise in ransomware attacks and phishing campaigns exploiting the human factor.
