In 2025, the Hautes-Pyrénées department experienced a mixed crime landscape, with burglaries surging by 31.3% and domestic violence doubling, while vehicle thefts rose by 7.6%. In response, authorities have bolstered strategies, including increased patrols, over 24,000 transport checks, and 10,500 road controls, alongside 447 video surveillance cameras across 28 communes.
