Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK) reported a suspension of railway traffic on the Mníchova Lehota - Bánovce nad Bebravou section starting at 2:20 PM. The cause is a collision between a passenger car and a passenger train, which occurred on Friday afternoon. Emergency and police units were called to the scene, where they secured the area and began investigating the causes of the accident.
