A 30-year-old local man has been arrested following a fatal hit-and-run accident on Jalan Tun Razak in Kuala Lumpur. The incident occurred at approximately 6:00 am when a car rammed a 29-year-old motorcyclist from behind near the TH Selborn building, heading toward the Pahang Roundabout. The impact caused the victim to suffer severe head injuries, and a medical assistant from Kuala Lumpur Hospital pronounced him dead at the scene. The driver initially fled the location without providing assistance but later surrendered voluntarily at the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Police Station at 6:30 pm. Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa confirmed the suspect underwent breathalyser and urine tests, both of which returned negative for alcohol and drugs. Police are currently finalizing investigation papers for referral to the deputy public prosecutor for upcoming court charges.
