Cardinal Ryś Establishes New Commission Regarding the Sexual Abuse of Adults 03.07.2026

On Friday, the Metropolitan of Krakow, Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś, announced the establishment of the "Hearing and Explanation" commission. Its task is to investigate the phenomenon of sexual abuse of adults in situations of vulnerability or dependency within the institutional Church in the Archdiocese of Krakow. The initiative is primarily intended to support victims who previously had no opportunity to obtain help or seek clarification regarding their cases.
