Carinthian man killed over 14,000 euros 14.07.2026

A dispute over debts amounting to approximately 14,000 euros escalated fatally in Carinthia during the night of June 10. As reported by the Kleine Zeitung, a 44-year-old man struck his 64-year-old acquaintance to death in his workshop using two different hammers. The victim, a car body repairer, had financed painting equipment for the trained car painter and had promised to cover the costs for his master craftsman certificate. The two had planned to build a business together by converting small vans into motorhomes, which however led to repeated financial disputes.
