A new INSA poll for Baden-Württemberg, conducted between February 17-23 with 1000 online respondents and a margin of error of approximately three percentage points, indicates a narrowing gap between the CDU and the Greens just two weeks before the state election on March 8. The CDU, while remaining the strongest party, has fallen to 28 percent, its weakest showing since July 2023, while the Greens have gained ground to 22 percent, reducing the difference to six percentage points from eight points in late January. The AfD maintains a stable 20 percent, consistently above this mark since October 2025, with the SPD at 10 percent, Die Linke at 7 percent, and the FDP at 6 percent, all of whom would enter the state parliament.
